As a social purpose start-up, PhilanthroBit is building a membership-based community investment ecosystem that educates, empowers and rewards participating individuals and entities. Beyond businesses raising via Equity Crowdfunding, for the first time, not-for-profits will be able to issue innovative tokenized Community Bonds.

In the future, the platform will also power PhilanthroBit’s evergreen tokenized Social Impact Fund that will co-invest in listed projects and bonds. Leveraging smart contracts technology and digital assets, our investment portal will automate cap table management and Board governance, creation of SPV investment vehicles, tokenized shares issuance and profit payouts.

To better serve our members, starting with Ottawa we will open a series of retail locations that will offer active, hands-on digital assets education and access to community investment opportunities and membership perks.
