The Canadian Institute of Mass Communication (website) is an Ottawa, ON based non-profit with the mission to provide capacity-building training and online education to meet the diverse communication needs of the community, develop educational strategies and innovative solutions to address emerging pedagogical needs, and facilitate collaborative research in convergent ICTs.

CIMC’s purpose is to create a positive impact in the lives of disadvantaged and underserved individuals in the community through continuing and online education. It formulates and implements strategies to address critical educational challenges. CIMC partners with other organizations to develop and deliver comprehensive content covering a wide range of literacy topics.
